The First Lady of the United States, Jill Biden, said that every Christmas her husband gives her a poem of his own composition. She shared this in an interview with actress Drew Barrymore.

"Every year Joe gives me a poem... He bought me a book and writes poems there every year," said the wife of American President Joe Biden, who confirmed that he composes each verse himself.

Biden also said that Jill agreed to marry him only on his fifth proposal. "When I went on a date with her for the first time, I realized that this was the right woman. It really was... I've only fallen in love twice in my life and in both cases I immediately understood it," he stressed.

Jill, in turn, explained that her doubts were related to the tragedy that the Biden family was going through. The president's ex-wife and their daughter crashed in a car accident.

Earlier, Biden was jealous of his wife to the Indians. According to the American leader, his wife shows more interest in representatives of indigenous peoples than in himself.
